The Second Thing

New Shows I Won’t Even Give a Chance:

  • Terra Nova (FOX)
  • The Playboy Club (NBC)
  • Last Man Standing (ABC)
  • Man Up (ABC)
  • Revenge (ABC)
  • How to Be a Gentleman (CBS)
  • Whitney (NBC)
  • Once Upon a Time (ABC)
  • Any CW Show

New Shows I’m Excited For:

  • New Girl (FOX) – Only because of Zooey
  • Unforgettable (CBS) – Monk, The Mentalist… it’s all good
  • Free Agents (NBC) – They say it’s going to be funny. The previews say otherwise.
  • Up All Night (NBC) – This looks like the best one
  • I Hate My Teenage Daughter (FOX) – Eh. Decent title.

Old Shows I Really Can’t Wait to See Return:

  • Two and a Half Men (CBS) – Whether or not it will be good, I just can’t wait to see it!
  • Modern Family (ABC) – Sophomore slump, indeed. Please get better, guys!
  • Happy Endings (ABC) – My favorite new show from the Spring better still be good.
  • Community (NBC) – It’s so smart.
  • Parks and Recreation (NBC) – The best show I’ve seen since 2009.
  • The Office (NBC) – So what’s happening with this spayed guy?
  • Shark Tank (ABC) – I’ve never seen an entire episode, only a few minutes since it’s right before “What Would You Do?”, but this year I might just watch.
  • Sunday Night Football (NBC) – It’s good to have you back, football.
